About the Role
As a CDL-A truck driver with Ryder, you'll manage regional transportation routes, maintaining safety and efficiency standards while delivering freight across our service area. What You'll Do
- Operate commercial vehicles on assigned regional routes with consistent home time
- Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain detailed logs
- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and company safety policies
- Complete pickups, deliveries, and stops with accuracy and professionalism
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and manage load documentation
- Maintain a clean driving record and professional demeanor with customers
What We're Looking For
- Valid Commercial Driver License (CDL-A) with clean driving history
- Minimum verifiable driving experience as required by DOT standards
- Strong knowledge of vehicle operation and safety procedures
- Ability to pass medical examination and background check

Compensation & Benefits
We offer competitive earnings and incentives designed to reward experience and loyalty:
- Weekly pay up to $1,600 for solo miles
- Mileage rate of $0.72 per mile
- Stop pay of $28.75 per stop
- Per diem allowance of $40 per night
- Hourly rate of $27.50 for local runs
- $10,000 loyalty bonus distributed as $2,500 quarterly installments
