About the Role
As a Sales Account Manager specializing in Live Sports, you'll be the primary business partner for your assigned accounts. You'll develop comprehensive advertising strategies, expand revenue through upsell opportunities, and ensure client success with Amazon's suite of advertising solutions. Your work directly impacts how advertisers connect with engaged audiences during the biggest sporting events and moments.
What You'll Do
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with key advertising clients and agencies
- Develop customized advertising campaigns aligned with client business objectives
- Present Amazon's advertising solutions and demonstrate ROI to prospective and existing clients
- Manage account performance, quarterly reviews, and renewal negotiations
- Collaborate with internal teams including creative, operations, and analytics to deliver exceptional client outcomes
- Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities to grow account value
- Track pipeline, forecast revenue, and meet individual sales targets
- Stay current with advertising industry trends and competitive offerings
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of sales experience in account management, advertising, media, or related field
- Proven track record of exceeding sales quotas and managing complex, long-term client relationships
- Strong understanding of digital advertising, media buying, or broadcast/streaming advertising
- Excellent presentation, negotiation, and written communication skills
- Analytical mindset with ability to interpret data and articulate business impact
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
- Based in or willing to work from the New York City area
