About the Role

Fiber Staffing is hiring a Physical Therapy Assistant for a daytime contract role in Piscataway, Middlesex County. This position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative clinical environment while gaining valuable contract-based experience. You'll work a standard 5-day, 8-hour daily schedule with consistent day shift hours.

What You'll Do

• Assist patients with therapeutic exercises and functional mobility activities under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist
• Perform patient hygiene and comfort care tasks as assigned
• Help maintain equipment, treatment areas, and patient records in compliance with facility standards
• Monitor and document patient progress and response to treatment
• Communicate effectively with the clinical team to support safe, evidence-based patient care
• Help patients understand and perform home exercise programs

What We're Looking For

• Current Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license or certification (state of New Jersey)
• Proven ability to work effectively in clinical settings with diverse patient populations
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety and dignity
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to lift and move patients safely with proper body mechanics
• Flexibility and reliability in a structured, fast-paced environment
