Electric Transmission/Renewable Energy Project Manager

Stantec is seeking an Electric Transmission/Renewable Energy Project Manager in Mandan to lead complex infrastructure and energy initiatives. This full-time position offers the opportunity to oversee projects from conception through completion, working with accomplished engineers and stakeholders in a collaborative, impact-driven environment.

About the Role

As an Electric Transmission/Renewable Energy Project Manager at Stantec, you'll take ownership of projects that strengthen North America's transmission and renewable energy infrastructure. You'll drive success through strategic oversight, cross-functional coordination, and demonstrated commitment to engineering excellence.

What You'll Do

• Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources to deliver results on time and within scope
• Coordinate with engineering teams, clients, regulatory agencies, and project stakeholders
• Oversee compliance with federal, state, and local regulations governing transmission systems and renewable energy installations
• Ensure consistent adherence to quality and safety standards across all project phases
• Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to maintain project momentum
• Lead project teams, mentor staff, and foster a collaborative working environment
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation and provide regular status reports to leadership

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, project management, business administration, or related field
• Demonstrated experience managing infrastructure, construction, or energy sector projects
• Strong understanding of transmission systems, renewable energy development, or similar technical domains
• Proven track record of managing schedules, finances, and stakeholder relationships
• Knowledge of energy sector regulatory requirements and permitting procedures
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership capabilities
• Proficiency with project management software and technical tools
• Professional engineer (PE) license or pursuit of licensure preferred
