Project Manager-Retail Bank Construction

CBRE is hiring a full-time Project Manager–Retail Bank Construction in West Miami, Miami-Dade County. In this consulting role, you'll partner with a leading financial institution to deliver strategic construction initiatives across Florida, guiding new branches and major renovation projects from conception to completion.

About the Role

You'll serve as the strategic lead for a financial services client's retail banking construction program, overseeing both ground-up facilities and branch modernization efforts. Depending on your location, you'll focus on properties along Florida's Atlantic Coast or in the Tampa and Orlando metropolitan areas. Your work will directly support the client's expansion and facility investment priorities through expert project delivery.

What You'll Do

• Direct and oversee ground-up retail bank construction from planning through substantial completion
• Manage full-scale branch renovation and repositioning projects across multiple Florida locations
• Coordinate with architectural, engineering, and construction teams to ensure timeline adherence and budget compliance
• Serve as the primary liaison between CBRE, the client, and all project stakeholders
• Track project metrics, risk mitigation strategies, and client reporting requirements
• Guide permitting, contractor selection, and quality assurance processes
• Monitor site progress, budget allocation, and schedule performance

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience managing retail or commercial construction projects, ideally in banking or financial services
• Strong familiarity with ground-up development and renovation/repositioning work
• Demonstrated ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams and manage stakeholder relationships
• Proficiency with construction management software, scheduling tools, and project controls
• Knowledge of Florida permitting, building codes, and coastal construction considerations
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Bachelor's degree in construction management, project management, or related field preferred
