About the Role
As Family Ambassador Lead reporting to the Associate Director of Student Recruitment & Enrollment, you'll play a central role in building and strengthening relationships with families in Oakland and surrounding communities. Your work directly supports our commitment to opening doors to excellent education for all students.
What You'll Do
- Lead family engagement initiatives that connect Oakland-area families with KIPP schools and enrollment opportunities
- Serve as a trusted ambassador in the community, answering questions about our schools and programs
- Support student recruitment efforts by building awareness and generating interest among families in Alameda County
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with families and community partners
- Work with the Student Recruitment & Enrollment team to achieve enrollment goals across KIPP Northern California schools
- Represent KIPP at community events, information sessions, and family engagement activities
- Provide comprehensive information about admissions, school programs, and student support services
