About the Role

As Director of Technical Operations, you'll oversee all aspects of small molecule drug product manufacturing, from process development through commercial production. You'll ensure seamless operational execution while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and regulatory compliance. This leadership position combines strategic oversight with hands-on technical direction across manufacturing, quality assurance, process engineering, and supply chain functions.

What You'll Do

• Direct technical operations for small molecule drug product manufacturing, including scale-up, process optimization, and commercial production
• Develop and implement manufacturing strategies that improve efficiency, reduce costs, and maintain FDA compliance and quality standards
• Lead cross-functional teams in process development, technical investigations, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Ensure regulatory compliance across all manufacturing operations and manage relationships with regulatory agencies
• Oversee quality assurance, batch records, deviation management, and product release processes
• Manage capital projects, budgets, and resource allocation to support operational goals
• Drive innovation in manufacturing technology and process chemistry to enhance product quality and manufacturing capabilities

What We're Looking For

• Advanced degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, pharmaceutical sciences, or related discipline
• 10+ years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, process development, or technical operations
• Proven leadership experience managing technical teams and cross-functional projects in regulated environments
• Deep knowledge of FDA regulations, cGMP, and pharmaceutical quality systems
• Strong technical expertise in small molecule drug product manufacturing
• Excellent project management and operational problem-solving skills
