About the Role
As a CT Technologist with SSM Health, you'll perform computed tomography examinations using state-of-the-art imaging technology. You'll work directly with patients, physicians, and clinical teams to ensure high-quality diagnostic images and optimal patient outcomes. This full-time position offers competitive compensation starting at $32 per hour, with daily pay options available and shift differentials for evening, night, and weekend shifts.
What You'll Do
- Operate computed tomography equipment to perform diagnostic imaging procedures according to physician orders
- Position patients and communicate clearly to ensure comfort and cooperation during CT scans
- Monitor patients for adverse reactions and maintain clear documentation of all procedures
- Maintain computed tomography equipment calibration and report any malfunctions
- Follow radiation safety protocols and infection control standards
- Collaborate with radiologists and physicians to provide diagnostic quality imaging
What We're Looking For
- Completion of an accredited radiography or radiology program
- Current ARRT-R (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in radiography
- Strong patient care skills and ability to work effectively in a clinical team environment
- Attention to detail and commitment to radiation safety and imaging quality
