Join our team as an Insurance Loss Control and Risk Management Consultant serving the Pittsburgh, Allegheny County region. About the Role
We need a skilled risk management professional to serve as a trusted consultant and technical resource. You'll evaluate loss exposures, deliver risk mitigation recommendations, and work directly with policyholders, insurance agents, and company personnel to eliminate or reduce the likelihood and severity of losses. Your work will directly contribute to better underwriting decisions and improved profitability.
What You'll Do
- Conduct on-site risk management surveys on commercial, farm, and specialty risks throughout the Pittsburgh area
- Identify and analyze loss exposures and vulnerabilities
- Develop and recommend practical, cost-effective risk control strategies
- Serve as a technical resource for agents, underwriters, and internal teams on loss prevention best practices
- Document survey findings and recommendations in detailed reports
- Collaborate to improve underwriting profitability through thorough risk assessment
