About the Role

As a Research Nurse Coordinator Specialist, you will manage all operational and clinical aspects of obstetric and gynecologic research studies. You'll work at the intersection of clinical care, scientific discovery, and regulatory compliance, ensuring that each research project meets the highest standards for rigor, ethics, and participant protection.

What You'll Do

  • Coordinate and oversee day-to-day operations of multiple clinical research studies in OB/GYN
  • Recruit, screen, and enroll eligible study participants, ensuring informed consent processes are thorough and ethical
  • Collect, organize, and verify research data with meticulous attention to accuracy and protocol adherence
  • Schedule and conduct study visits, coordinate procedures, and manage participant follow-up
  • Communicate between research teams, clinical staff, and participants to maintain alignment and address concerns
  • Monitor protocol compliance and regulatory requirements, maintaining comprehensive study documentation
  • Provide education and mentorship to junior research staff and support team members
  • Contribute to study design, data analysis planning, and research program evaluation
  • Ensure participant safety and well-being throughout all research activities

What We're Looking For

  • Current RN license and clinical nursing background with experience in obstetrics or gynecology preferred
  • Demonstrated expertise in clinical research coordination and protocol management
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements, ethical principles, and Good Clinical Practice (GCP)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for diverse audiences
  • Ability to lead initiatives, mentor staff, and foster collaboration across departments
  • Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) and research databases
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management abilities
  • Commitment to integrity, transparency, and participant-centered care
