Advanced Field Service Engineer – Louisville, KY

Honeywell is hiring an Advanced Field Service Engineer for our Pierre, Hughes County office. In this full-time position, you'll provide expert technical support and field service solutions to customers across our Pro-Watch and MAXPRO security systems portfolio, partnering directly with end users and value-added resellers to optimize their system performance and resolve complex challenges.

About the Role

As an Advanced Field Service Engineer at Honeywell, you are the technical backbone for enterprise and mid-market security installations. You'll combine hands-on troubleshooting with strategic system design to deliver results that matter—keeping mission-critical security systems running reliably in the field.

What You'll Do

• Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues in Pro-Watch and MAXPRO installations, minimizing downtime for customers
• Design and evaluate security system configurations tailored to end-user requirements and infrastructure constraints
• Lead field service projects from planning through execution, coordinating with resellers, technicians, and internal teams
• Perform advanced system configuration and integration work to support customer objectives
• Collaborate with multiple departments within Honeywell to ensure seamless project delivery and customer satisfaction
• Document technical findings, solutions, and system specifications to support ongoing customer relationships
• Provide on-site and remote technical guidance to support teams and customer stakeholders

What We're Looking For

• Proven expertise in field service engineering, systems troubleshooting, or a closely related discipline
• Strong technical foundation in security systems, network infrastructure, or industrial controls
• Demonstrated project management skills and ability to prioritize multiple customer engagements
• Excellent communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Willingness to travel on-site to customer locations as needed
• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to think through complex systems and edge cases
