About the Role

As a Consulting Principal specializing in healthcare payer operations, you'll serve as a trusted strategic advisor to C-suite executives, guiding major healthcare organizations through complex business transformations. You'll combine deep subject matter expertise in payer operations with strategic advisory capabilities to solve pressing industry challenges—from enrollment and claims management to digital platform modernization and cost optimization.

What You'll Do

• Lead high-impact consulting engagements with Fortune 500 healthcare payers, managing scope, delivery, and client relationships end-to-end
• Develop and present strategic recommendations on healthcare payer operations, including claims administration, enrollment processes, and member services
• Advise senior leadership on digital transformation initiatives, operational efficiency, and market positioning within the healthcare insurance industry
• Build and mentor consulting teams on complex payer-focused engagements, ensuring quality delivery and professional development
• Leverage industry insights and technology capabilities to create innovative solutions tailored to client business objectives
• Drive thought leadership and market visibility within healthcare payer consulting

What We're Looking For

• 10+ years of experience in healthcare payer consulting, operations, or strategy roles
• Proven expertise in healthcare payer business processes, including claims, enrollment, medical management, or provider networks
• Track record of successfully leading large, complex consulting engagements and managing client relationships
• Strong understanding of healthcare industry dynamics, regulatory requirements, and competitive landscape
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with ability to influence executive-level audiences
• Demonstrated ability to think strategically while managing operational details
• Willingness to travel as needed for client engagements
