This full-time position offers rotating 12-hour night shifts (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM) with a structured schedule that includes every other weekend, providing the opportunity to practice professional nursing in a meaningful correctional healthcare setting.

About the Role

As a Licensed Practical Nurse with Southern Health Partners, you'll deliver direct patient care within a secure correctional facility. This role combines clinical responsibility with professional growth, offering exposure to diverse patient needs and health situations. You'll work as part of an interdisciplinary healthcare team, supporting physicians and nurse supervisors in providing quality medical services to the facility population.

What You'll Do

• Monitor and document patient vital signs and health status
• Assist with medication administration and distribution under RN supervision
• Respond to patient medical concerns and report findings to nursing leadership
• Support health screenings and medical procedures as directed
• Maintain comprehensive patient care documentation and health records
• Communicate professionally with patients, inmates, facility staff, and medical personnel
• Contribute to a safe and sanitary healthcare environment

What We're Looking For

• Active North Carolina Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) credential
• Demonstrated clinical nursing skills and patient care experience
• Ability to work rotating 12-hour night shifts and every other weekend schedule
