Truck Driver Owner Operator – OTR

Bennett Motor Express is seeking an experienced CDL-A Owner Operator for full-time Over-the-Road (OTR) trucking in our Open Deck Division, based in Manhattan. About the Role

As a CDL-A Owner Operator with Bennett Motor Express, you'll run your own operation while partnering with a company committed to your success. Based in Manhattan, you'll haul open deck freight across the country as an OTR driver, earning 74.7% of linehaul revenue. This full-time owner operator position rewards your independence, professionalism, and dedication to safe, on-time deliveries.

What You'll Do

• Operate your own CDL-A truck as an independent contractor in our Open Deck Division
• Haul flatbed and open deck freight on OTR routes nationwide
• Maintain your equipment and ensure compliance with all DOT regulations
• Manage dispatch and logistics while partnering with Bennett Motor Express for freight access and load optimization
• Deliver shipments safely and on schedule to build a reputation for reliability

What We're Looking For

• Valid CDL-A license with a clean driving record
• Minimum one year of professional truck driving experience
• Own or be prepared to operate your own commercial truck
• Commitment to safety, compliance, and customer service excellence
• Ability to manage your business independently while collaborating with our team
