CDL-A Owner Operator – 1yr EXP Required – OTR – Bennett Motor Express

Bennett Motor Express is hiring experienced CDL-A Owner Operators for full-time, over-the-road freight work in our Open Deck Division, based in Lubbock, Lubbock County. If you hold a valid CDL-A, have at least one year of OTR experience, and want to operate your own commercial vehicle with proven earning potential, this is your opportunity.

About the Role

As a CDL-A Owner Operator with Bennett Motor Express, you'll run your own operation in our Open Deck Division, hauling freight on long-haul routes across the country. You'll earn 74.7% of linehaul revenue—built for owner operators who want to maximize their income while maintaining full independence. This full-time position offers the earning potential and autonomy that comes with owning your own truck.

What You'll Do

• Operate your commercial vehicle for over-the-road freight transportation
• Manage your own truck, maintenance, and operational logistics as an independent contractor
• Maintain DOT compliance, safety standards, and accurate logbook records
• Work directly with dispatch to coordinate loads and delivery schedules
• Track fuel, maintenance, and operating expenses for your business

What We're Looking For

• Valid CDL-A license with a clean driving record
• Minimum one year of over-the-road trucking experience
• Your own commercial vehicle (or willingness to work with lease partners)
• Proven track record of safety, reliability, and professional standards
• Ability to work independently and manage your own business
