Rehabilitation Hospital of Columbus is hiring a full-time Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurse to join our clinical team in Lanett, Chambers County. About the Role

As a Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurse, you'll provide direct patient care within a structured rehabilitation program designed to help individuals regain independence and mobility following injury, surgery, or illness. You'll work as part of an interdisciplinary team, collaborating with physicians, therapists, and support staff to achieve measurable patient outcomes. This position is integral to our rehabilitation hospital's mission of facilitating recovery and improving quality of life.

What You'll Do

• Assess patient status and monitor vital signs, pain levels, and functional progress throughout treatment
• Administer medications and wound care according to established clinical protocols
• Coordinate discharge planning and ensure continuity of care as patients transition home
• Educate patients and families on rehabilitation goals, exercises, and self-care strategies
• Document patient care activities and maintain accurate medical records
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and contribute to individualized treatment planning
• Respond to patient needs and advocate for optimal rehabilitation outcomes

What We're Looking For

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in Alabama
• Certification in rehabilitation nursing or demonstrated experience in rehabilitation settings
• Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team-based environment
• Commitment to patient-centered care and professional development
• Reliable, detail-oriented approach to documentation and patient safety
