HHB Restaurant Recruiting is hiring a Restaurant Assistant General Manager for a full-service dining establishment in Lakewood, Los Angeles County. About the Role

As Assistant General Manager, you'll support the restaurant's management team and take on increasing responsibility for front-of-house and back-of-house operations. You'll work alongside the General Manager to ensure smooth day-to-day execution, maintain service standards, and build a strong restaurant culture. This position bridges the gap between team member and full management, offering real hands-on experience and clear advancement opportunity.

What You'll Do

• Oversee dining room operations, guest service standards, and table management during shifts
• Supervise and mentor front-of-house staff, including servers, hosts, and bussers
• Coordinate with the kitchen team to ensure food quality, timing, and special guest needs are met
• Manage reservations, handle guest concerns, and resolve service issues professionally
• Monitor inventory, supplies, and cost control across assigned areas
• Ensure health, safety, and sanitation compliance throughout the restaurant
• Assist with staff scheduling, training, and performance management
• Support marketing initiatives and contribute to growing the guest base

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience in full-service restaurant operations or hospitality management
