About the Role
As a perinatology physician, you'll lead the clinical care of high-risk pregnancies and complex maternal-fetal conditions. Your expertise in advanced diagnosis and fetal intervention will directly impact outcomes for expectant parents facing pregnancy complications.
What You'll Do
- Manage high-risk pregnancy cases involving maternal, fetal, or placental complications
- Perform advanced prenatal diagnostic testing, including specialized ultrasound and fetal assessment
- Develop individualized care plans and counsel patients on diagnosis, prognosis, and delivery strategy
- Collaborate with obstetric, neonatal, and surgical teams to ensure coordinated perinatal care
- Guide treatment decisions for complex fetal conditions requiring specialized expertise
- Maintain current clinical knowledge and contribute to evidence-based practice improvements
What We're Looking For
- MD or DO with board certification (or eligibility) in Maternal-Fetal Medicine
- Active, unrestricted medical license to practice in Maryland
- Proven clinical competency in maternal-fetal medicine and complex obstetrics
- Strong clinical communication and patient education skills
- Commitment to delivering evidence-based, compassionate care
- Available to start immediately
