Registered Nurse or Graduate Nurse Medical Telemetry 7D

Mercy is hiring a Registered Nurse or Graduate Nurse for our Medical Telemetry unit in Turners, Greene County. This is a part-time nursing position where you'll deliver direct patient care, monitor cardiac rhythms, and contribute to positive patient outcomes on a dynamic 7-day rotating schedule.

About the Role

As a Medical Telemetry Nurse, you'll apply the nursing process to provide comprehensive care to patients with cardiac and other monitored conditions. You'll be responsible for a patient assignment, performing direct patient care, and maintaining accurate documentation of all clinical interventions and patient responses.

What You'll Do

• Deliver direct patient care using the nursing process, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Monitor cardiac telemetry systems and respond appropriately to arrhythmias or changes in patient status
• Perform routine nursing care including vital signs, medication administration, wound care, and patient hygiene
• Evaluate the effectiveness of care provided and adjust interventions as needed
• Coordinate patient care with other departments and multidisciplinary team members
• Maintain patient confidentiality and uphold patient rights and dignity
• Communicate clearly with patients, families, and the healthcare team
• Support a safe, professional, and collaborative unit environment

What We're Looking For

• Current RN licensure in your state, or graduate nurse status with plans to obtain licensure
• Strong clinical knowledge and ability to apply the nursing process in acute care
• Ability to prioritize patient care and respond to changing patient conditions
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Commitment to patient safety, privacy, and professional standards
• Flexibility to work part-time hours and rotating 7-day schedules as assigned
