About the Role

As Chief Human Resources and Culture Officer (CHRCO), you'll serve as a strategic member of CJR's Executive Leadership Team, overseeing all facets of human resources, organizational culture, and people development. You'll work directly with executive leadership to align HR strategy with company objectives, foster a thriving workplace culture, and develop talent across the organization.

What You'll Do

• Direct the HR function and lead workforce development initiatives aligned with CJR's mission
• Build and sustain a strong organizational culture that attracts, retains, and engages top talent
• Oversee talent acquisition, employee relations, compensation, benefits, and professional development programs
• Advise executive leadership on HR strategy, compliance, and people-related business decisions
• Travel locally and statewide as needed to support CJR's operations

What We're Looking For

• Proven executive-level HR leadership experience, preferably as Chief HR Officer, VP of HR, or similar role
• Strategic expertise in organizational development, culture building, and talent management
• Strong knowledge of employment law, HR compliance, and best practices
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with all organizational levels
• Track record of designing and implementing HR programs that drive business results
• Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred

Position Details

This is a full-time role based in Litchfield, Litchfield County, Connecticut. Hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM (35 hours per week), with local and statewide travel required.
