About the Role
As a Medical-Surgical RN at Rose Medical Center, you'll be at the heart of patient recovery, providing skilled nursing care on a unit dedicated to post-operative and medically complex patients. You'll work alongside a collaborative surgical and nursing team, applying clinical expertise to support patient healing and comfort during critical recovery periods.
What You'll Do
- Monitor patient vital signs, clinical status, and post-operative progress
- Administer medications and manage IV therapies under clinical protocols
- Perform wound assessments, dressing changes, and post-surgical care
- Respond to patient needs with skilled assessments and clinical judgment
- Collaborate with physicians, surgeons, and interdisciplinary care teams
- Document patient care accurately in medical records
- Educate patients and families about recovery and self-care
- Maintain safe, clean, and therapeutic patient environments
What We're Looking For
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in Colorado
- Minimum 1–2 years of nursing experience, preferably in medical-surgical or post-acute settings
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Commitment to patient-centered, compassionate care
- Ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment
- Flexibility and reliability in a structured clinical setting
