About the Role

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist at Headway, you'll provide compassionate, evidence-based mental health counseling to a diverse caseload of insurance-covered clients. You'll conduct comprehensive assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver therapy across a range of conditions and life challenges. This full-time position offers the professional independence of private practice combined with the stability of consistent client referrals through Headway's network.

What You'll Do

• Conduct intake assessments and establish therapeutic relationships with new clients
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices
• Provide individual and group therapy sessions as appropriate
• Maintain detailed, compliant clinical documentation and progress notes
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers when needed for comprehensive care
• Accept and process insurance claims through Headway's integrated platform
• Contribute to a supportive community of mental health professionals

What We're Looking For

• Current, active license as a Licensed Mental Health Therapist (LMHT) or equivalent in Pennsylvania
• Demonstrated experience in clinical assessment and psychotherapy
• Strong understanding of mental health diagnoses, treatment modalities, and evidence-based approaches
• Excellent clinical documentation and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively with diverse populations and presenting concerns
• Commitment to professional ethics, confidentiality, and client-centered care
• Comfort navigating insurance systems and digital platforms
