Mercy is hiring a full-time RN for Med-Surg (Medical-Surgical) days in Village, Oklahoma. This position is open to experienced RNs and new graduates. We're looking for nursing professionals who thrive in a dynamic unit environment, delivering compassionate patient-centered care.

About the Role

As a Medical-Surgical RN working days, you'll be the clinical leader for your assigned patients. This is a hands-on nursing position where you'll assess patient conditions, develop and implement evidence-based care plans, and monitor patient progress throughout your shift. You'll work in a unit where acute and post-operative patients depend on your clinical judgment and nursing expertise every day.

What You'll Do

  • Perform thorough patient assessments and vital sign monitoring
  • Develop, document, and update individualized care plans for your patient assignment
  • Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as ordered
  • Monitor patient recovery and report changes to the care team
  • Educate patients and families about diagnosis, treatment, and recovery expectations
  • Coordinate care with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
  • Uphold patient confidentiality and respect patient rights in all interactions
  • Support the unit culture and collaborate with your nursing team

What We're Looking For

  • Current RN license issued by the Oklahoma Board of Nursing
  • Strong communication and clinical assessment skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple patients safely
  • Commitment to patient-centered care and professional nursing standards
  • Willingness to learn and grow in a supportive environment
