About the Role
As a Physical Therapist at our Apopka facility, you'll work directly with residents recovering from surgery, injury, or illness—helping them rebuild strength, restore mobility, and return to their daily activities. You'll evaluate patient conditions, design individualized treatment plans, and guide residents through therapeutic exercises and interventions that drive measurable progress.
What You'll Do
- Conduct thorough physical assessments and develop customized treatment protocols
- Deliver hands-on therapy including manual techniques, therapeutic exercise, and functional training
- Monitor patient progress, adjust treatments, and communicate outcomes with the care team
- Educate residents and families on exercises, safety, and long-term wellness strategies
- Maintain detailed clinical documentation and coordinate care with nursing and medical staff
- Uphold best practices and regulatory compliance standards in all patient interactions
What We're Looking For
- Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) with valid Florida licensure
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent qualifying degree
- Experience in skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or acute care settings preferred
- Strong clinical reasoning, communication, and patient advocacy skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary healthcare team
- Full-time and part-time positions available—PRN opportunities also considered
