About the Role
As an Engineer IV at Marriott, you'll occupy a senior technical position within our Engineering & Facilities department. You'll balance individual contributor work with leadership responsibilities, owning the design and delivery of sophisticated engineering solutions while supporting team growth and technical excellence. An evening shift is preferred for this role.
What You'll Do
- Design and oversee implementation of engineering solutions for facilities systems, infrastructure, and building management
- Lead technical decision-making on complex projects, defining architectures that scale and maintain quality over time
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct technical reviews, fostering a culture of continuous learning
- Investigate and resolve system-level issues, documenting solutions and building institutional knowledge
- Partner with facilities operations and cross-functional teams to integrate engineering work seamlessly into hotel operations
- Contribute to planning and roadmaps for system upgrades and infrastructure improvements

- Extensive engineering background with demonstrated advancement to senior-level technical responsibilities
- Deep technical expertise with proven ability to design and ship scalable, maintainable solutions
- Proven track record mentoring and developing junior engineering staff

- Clear communication abilities—translating technical complexity for operations and business stakeholders
- Experience with building systems, facilities infrastructure, or related engineering domains preferred
