About the Role
As a Contract Attorney at Rocket Lawyer, you will play a critical part in delivering reliable legal services and guidance to our users. Operating within our paid legal services division, you will help ensure that our platform provides dependable, legally sound assistance to individuals and businesses navigating everyday legal challenges.
What You'll Do
- Review and draft legal documents, contracts, and agreements to meet user needs and maintain quality standards
- Provide legal guidance and research support on matters within your practice areas
- Ensure all documents and advice comply with relevant state and federal regulations
- Collaborate with product, compliance, and customer service teams to refine our legal offerings
- Support the development and improvement of legal templates and service workflows
- Maintain accurate documentation and records of legal work performed
What We're Looking For
- Active law license in good standing in at least one US state
- Minimum 2–5 years of legal practice experience or equivalent background
- Strong knowledge of contract law, document drafting, and legal research
- Ability to communicate complex legal concepts clearly to non-lawyers
- Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in all legal work
- Experience with multiple practice areas preferred
- Comfort working in a technology-driven, fast-paced environment
