About the Role

This is a hands-on management position within JPMorgan Chase's Corporate Technology organization, focused on Treasury and Chief Investment Office systems. You'll oversee a talented engineering team responsible for building and sustaining the technology that powers our front-office trading operations. Your impact extends across platform stability, system resilience, and business execution—directly influencing trading workflows and market connectivity.

What You'll Do

• Lead, mentor, and grow an engineering team focused on trade execution and market systems
• Partner with senior business and technology stakeholders to define engineering priorities and technical direction
• Raise engineering standards across the team through code quality initiatives, architecture reviews, and best practices
• Identify and eliminate technical bottlenecks; automate recurring issues to improve reliability and reduce operational risk
• Oversee system performance, scalability, and stability for fixed income and derivatives trading platforms
• Drive deployment velocity and deployment safety through process improvement and tooling
• Contribute to hiring, professional development, and career growth for your team members

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience managing software engineering teams in fast-paced, high-stakes environments
• Strong technical background with hands-on understanding of distributed systems, APIs, and trading technology
• Track record of raising team capability, establishing technical standards, and driving adoption
• Experience working with fixed income, derivatives, or capital markets technology (preferred but not required)
• Excellent communication skills and ability to influence across technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Commitment to operational excellence, platform reliability, and continuous improvement
