About the Role
As a Registered Nurse at Shannon Rehabilitation Hospital, you'll provide direct patient care, clinical expertise, and compassionate support to individuals during their recovery journey. What You'll Do
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to rehabilitation patients, including assessment, monitoring, and documentation of clinical progress
- Administer medications, treatments, and therapies according to physician orders and established protocols
- Educate patients and families about their condition, recovery process, and discharge planning
- Monitor vital signs and patient response to rehabilitation therapies; communicate changes to the healthcare team
- Coordinate with physical therapists, occupational therapists, and other specialists to support patient recovery goals
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
- Provide emotional and physical support to patients and families throughout their rehabilitation stay
What We're Looking For
- Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas
- Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Commitment to patient-centered care and compassionate patient advocacy
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment
- Experience in acute care, medical-surgical nursing, or rehabilitation settings is valued
