About the Role

This is a full-time position offering up to $196.58 per hour, combining clinical autonomy with operational simplicity. As a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner at Headway, you'll practice in a modern clinical setting designed to eliminate administrative friction. What You'll Do

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments and biopsychosocial evaluations for patients seeking mental health treatment
• Develop individualized treatment plans and provide evidence-based medication management across diverse patient populations
• Prescribe and monitor psychiatric medications, adjusting regimens based on patient response and clinical outcomes
• Build therapeutic relationships and provide ongoing psychiatric care through regular patient visits and follow-up consultations
• Collaborate with patient care coordinators and referring providers to ensure coordinated, holistic mental health treatment
• Document clinical encounters accurately and maintain compliance with licensure and regulatory standards
• Contribute to continuous improvement of clinical protocols and patient outcomes

What We're Looking For

• Current state licensure as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner or Licensed Nurse Practitioner with psychiatric specialty certification
• Valid prescriptive authority in California for psychiatric medications
• Minimum 2+ years of clinical experience in psychiatric or mental health nursing practice
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills with demonstrated competency in mental health conditions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to work effectively with diverse patients and interdisciplinary teams
• Commitment to evidence-based practice and patient-centered care delivery
