Vehicle Buyer – Auto Acquisition Specialist

Drive N-Motion is hiring a Vehicle Buyer - Auto Acquisition Specialist to source and acquire fleet and dealership vehicles for our remarketing operations. Based in Welby, Adams County, this full-time position is ideal for someone with a keen eye for vehicle value and a talent for negotiation in the automotive wholesale space.

About the Role

As a Vehicle Buyer - Auto Acquisition Specialist, you'll be at the front lines of inventory acquisition for our fleet services division. You'll work directly with dealership networks, fleet operators, and private sellers to identify vehicles ready for wholesale distribution. Your success will depend on your ability to assess market conditions, evaluate vehicle condition and pricing, and close deals that benefit both acquisition targets and our operation's margins.

What You'll Do

• Source vehicles from active dealership and fleet-owned inventories across the region
• Conduct vehicle inspections and valuations to determine acquisition prices
• Negotiate purchase terms and close transactions with dealers and fleet managers
• Build and maintain relationships with repeat sellers and fleet partners
• Track acquisition activity, document transactions, and maintain accurate records
• Monitor market trends and competitor pricing to optimize acquisition strategy
• Meet weekly and monthly acquisition volume targets
• Ensure all transactions comply with automotive regulations and company procedures

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proven experience in automotive sales, procurement, or wholesale buying
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Working knowledge of vehicle valuation and market pricing
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel within the acquisition territory
• Familiarity with fleet or dealership operations preferred
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational habits
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment
