AIRCRAFT MAINTENANCE COORDINATOR TITLE 32 INDEFINITE with Security Clearance

The Department of the Air Force is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Coordinator for a full-time, indefinite appointment at Portsmouth, Rockingham County. This Title 32 position plays a critical role in maintaining the readiness and safety of the Air Force fleet through expert coordination of maintenance activities across multiple teams and supervisors.

About the Role

As an Aircraft Maintenance Coordinator, you will oversee the integration and execution of the squadron's complete maintenance program on the flight line. This role requires coordinating maintenance operations that span multiple organizational units and are managed by separate supervisory chains. You will ensure cohesive execution of complex maintenance tasks while maintaining the highest standards of safety, compliance, and operational readiness. This is a non-supervisory position focused on tactical coordination and program oversight.

What You'll Do

• Coordinate aircraft maintenance operations across the flight line involving multiple teams and supervisory structures
• Monitor and integrate maintenance work performed by distinct organizational units to ensure mission continuity
• Manage the overall squadron maintenance program in accordance with Air Force standards and regulations
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintenance documentation requirements
• Communicate maintenance status and priorities to supervisors and stakeholders
• Support flight readiness by coordinating timely completion of maintenance tasks

What We're Looking For

• Current or ability to obtain a Top Secret/SCI security clearance and pass background investigation
• Experience in aircraft maintenance operations, military maintenance programs, or related technical coordination
• Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to work effectively across multiple teams
• Knowledge of Air Force maintenance procedures and flight-line safety protocols
• Ability to manage competing priorities and coordinate complex work schedules
• Attention to detail and commitment to accurate documentation and record-keeping
