About the Role

As NDT Manager of Operations at our Corinne facility, you'll direct non-destructive testing activities, manage team performance, and maintain quality assurance across manufacturing and production environments. This hands-on leadership position requires both technical expertise and operational management skills. You'll report directly to senior leadership and help shape testing protocols and operational standards for next-generation programs.

What You'll Do

  • Oversee daily NDT operations, including ultrasonic, radiographic, penetrant, and magnetic particle testing procedures
  • Lead and mentor a team of technicians, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements
  • Implement and maintain quality assurance programs aligned with aerospace and defense specifications
  • Manage testing schedules, resource allocation, and equipment maintenance
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve quality issues and optimize testing methods
  • Maintain detailed documentation of all testing activities and results
  • Travel approximately 25% of the time for facility inspections, training, and inter-site coordination

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience managing NDT operations or leading technical teams in manufacturing or aerospace environments
  • Strong knowledge of non-destructive testing methods, equipment, and industry standards (ASTM, ASME, MIL-SPEC)
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience recruiting, training, and evaluating technicians
  • Strong problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to quality and detail
  • Ability to work in a structured, security-conscious environment
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel
  • US citizenship and ability to obtain or maintain a security clearance
