US Federal Growth Leader

Stantec is hiring a US Federal Growth Leader for our Bonnie, Utah County office. In this full-time role, you'll drive business development and market expansion within the federal government sector, building strategic relationships with federal clients and positioning Stantec for accelerated growth in one of the highest-value market segments.

About the Role

As US Federal Growth Leader at Stantec, you'll own the strategy and execution of federal business development initiatives. This strategic leadership position focuses on capturing federal contract opportunities, expanding our federal government client base, and building a thriving federal practice aligned with Stantec's growth objectives.

What You'll Do

• Identify, evaluate, and pursue high-value federal government contracting opportunities
• Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for federal sector expansion
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with federal clients, agencies, and decision-makers
• Lead proposal development and support federal contract pursuit efforts
• Collaborate across Stantec's business units to coordinate federal market response and delivery
• Track market trends, competitive positioning, and federal award activity
• Coach and lead team members supporting federal business development initiatives

What We're Looking For

• Proven track record in federal government business development or federal contracting
• Deep knowledge of federal procurement processes, GSA schedules, and contracting vehicles
• Experience building and scaling federal consulting or professional services practices
• Strong relationship management skills and established federal government contacts
• Strategic thinking and ability to translate federal market opportunities into sustainable growth
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or related field preferred
