Join Epic Special Education Staffing as a Special Education Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year in Wittmann, Maricopa County. This full-time position offers a $2,000 completion bonus upon finishing your school-year assignment, plus the opportunity to earn up to $3,000 in referral bonuses.
About the Role
As a Special Education Teacher in Wittmann, you'll deliver individualized instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs, helping them build academic skills, independence, and confidence. You'll work collaboratively with general education teachers, administrators, families, and support staff to create an inclusive learning environment that meets each student's unique goals outlined in their IEP.
What You'll Do
- Plan and deliver specialized instruction tailored to students' IEPs and learning profiles
- Implement evidence-based teaching strategies and interventions across core academic areas
- Monitor student progress, assess mastery, and adjust instruction accordingly
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation including progress reports and IEP tracking
- Communicate regularly with families about student performance, goals, and next steps
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure consistent support across school settings
- Foster a classroom culture that celebrates progress and encourages self-advocacy
What We're Looking For
- Arizona certification or eligibility in Special Education (or ability to obtain)
- Experience teaching students with a range of disabilities and learning needs
- Proficiency with IEP development, compliance documentation, and student assessment
- Strong ability to build relationships with students, families, and colleagues
- Experience differentiating instruction and adapting materials for diverse learners
- Commitment to continuous professional development and data-driven instruction
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
