Principal Biostatistician FSP

Cytel is seeking a Principal Biostatistician to join our clinical research team in Trenton, Mercer County. In this full-time role, you will lead or provide advanced statistical expertise across Phase I through Phase III clinical trials, with primary focus on Alzheimer's disease and Type 2 Diabetes research programs.

About the Role

As Principal Biostatistician at Cytel, you will serve as a trusted statistical scientist on multidisciplinary research teams. You'll apply sophisticated analytical methods to solve complex clinical data challenges, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive evidence-based decision-making across our portfolio of neurological and metabolic disease studies. This position offers the opportunity to directly influence the design, execution, and analysis of pivotal research that advances patient care.

What You'll Do

• Deliver statistical expertise and guidance on Phase I, II, and III clinical trial design and implementation
• Contribute to the development of statistical sections within clinical study protocols
• Analyze clinical data and prepare statistical tables, figures, and comprehensive analysis reports
• Collaborate with clinical teams, regulatory affairs, and data management on Alzheimer's and Type 2 Diabetes programs, as well as related therapeutic areas such as Hypertension
• Ensure statistical methodologies align with regulatory expectations and industry standards
• Mentor junior statistical staff and contribute to team knowledge development

What We're Looking For

• Advanced degree in Biostatistics, Statistics, or related quantitative discipline
• Demonstrated expertise in clinical trial statistical design and analysis
• Proficiency with statistical software and clinical data systems
• Strong understanding of FDA guidance and ICH-GCP regulatory requirements
• Excellent communication skills and ability to explain statistical concepts to non-statistician stakeholders
• Proven track record leading or significantly contributing to clinical research projects
