About the Role
This full-time Resident Engineer position is based in our Lawrenceville, New Jersey office. You'll work on bridge, highway, and rail projects ranging from $15M to $1B in value, serving as the technical leader on site and driving quality, safety, and schedule performance on complex, high-stakes infrastructure work.
What You'll Do
- Manage daily site activities and oversee construction quality assurance
- Conduct detailed inspections to verify work meets engineering plans and specifications
- Perform daily site assessments and provide technical review of ongoing construction
- Coordinate between design teams, contractors, and project leadership
- Document field observations, conditions, and decisions in project records
- Deliver technical guidance and support to field and construction teams
- Help drive project scheduling, budget management, and compliance requirements
