STV is hiring a Project Officer Associate to join our Program and Construction Management (PM/CM) team in New York City — a full-time, on-site opportunity to build a career supporting the public school construction projects that shape communities across the five boroughs.
About the Role
As a Project Officer Associate at STV, you will work directly alongside a Project Officer or Senior Project Officer, contributing to the day-to-day technical and administrative work that keeps school construction projects moving forward. This entry point is designed for someone eager to gain practical, hands-on experience in the PM/CM environment while learning how large public projects are delivered on time and in line with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist Project Officers with the coordination and execution of school construction assignments throughout New York City.
- Support a range of technical tasks that contribute directly to successful project delivery.
- Help maintain documentation, records, and reporting needed to meet compliance and regulatory standards.
- Handle administrative duties that keep project workflows organized and on schedule.
- Collaborate with senior team members to learn project management and construction management best practices.
Qualifications
- Interest in pursuing a career in project management, construction management, or a related field.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail when handling technical and administrative work.
- Willingness to learn from and report to experienced Project Officers and Senior Project Officers.
- Ability to work on-site in New York City as part of the PM/CM group.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills for documentation and team coordination.
