Join UCHealth's Respiratory Care team as a Respiratory Therapist New Graduate in the Falcon, El Paso County area. We're seeking a newly credentialed respiratory therapist to launch your clinical career on our full-time night shift team.
About the Role
As a Respiratory Therapist New Graduate, you'll deliver essential respiratory care to hospitalized patients while building clinical expertise in a supportive inpatient environment. This full-time position offers 72 hours per pay period on the night shift.
What You'll Do
- Assess patients' respiratory status and monitor clinical parameters
- Administer oxygen therapy and therapeutic respiratory procedures
- Maintain, operate, and troubleshoot respiratory care equipment
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary clinical teams on patient care planning
- Document treatments and maintain accurate medical records
- Adhere to evidence-based protocols and quality standards
- Educate patients and families about respiratory treatments and care
What We're Looking For
- Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program
- Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the National Board
- Strong patient communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic clinical setting
- Dedication to patient safety and quality care
- Flexibility in responding to evolving clinical needs
Compensation & Schedule
Competitive hourly pay ranging from $31.61 to $47.41 based on experience. Full-time night shift position, 0.9 FTE.
