About the Role

As an Assistant Store Manager at Dollar General, you'll partner with the Store Manager to oversee daily operations and team performance. You'll gain hands-on experience in merchandising, sales management, and team leadership in a fast-paced retail environment.

What You'll Do

• Support store operations and help achieve sales and customer service targets
• Train, supervise, and mentor store associates
• Manage cash handling, point-of-sale procedures, and daily reconciliation
• Maintain store appearance, organization, and effective merchandise displays
• Oversee inventory management, receiving, and stock replenishment
• Respond to customer needs and resolve issues professionally
• Uphold company policies and workplace safety standards
• Assist with hiring and onboarding of new team members

What We're Looking For
