Sector GM – Commercial & Industrial

Buffalo Builders Llc is seeking a Sector General Manager for our Commercial & Industrial Division, positioned in Bethel Heights, Washington County. You'll report directly to Executive Leadership in this senior leadership role, with complete authority and responsibility for driving growth, operational excellence, and strategic performance across this vital business sector.

About the Role

As Sector GM, you'll operate as the chief executive of your division. You'll oversee multiple projects simultaneously, manage financial performance, develop your team, and chart the strategic course for the sector. This is a comprehensive leadership position that combines hands-on operational oversight with board-level strategic thinking. You'll have direct accountability for safety, quality, profitability, and market growth.

What You'll Do

• Lead all aspects of the Commercial & Industrial Division's operations and performance
• Develop, implement, and execute division strategy and business plans
• Oversee project delivery, ensuring superior quality, safety, and financial outcomes
• Build and lead a management team capable of scaling the sector
• Establish and maintain high standards for safety, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance
• Drive business development and capture market opportunities for growth
• Manage division budgets and maximize operational efficiency and profitability
• Represent the division in client, vendor, and industry relationships

What We're Looking For

• Extensive experience in construction, particularly with commercial and industrial projects
• Demonstrated success in a senior leadership or general management capacity
• Strong business acumen, including P&L management and financial strategy
• Proven ability to build, motivate, and develop high-performing teams
• In-depth knowledge of construction operations, safety practices, and quality management
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills with diverse stakeholders
• Valid driver's license and professional flexibility to travel as needed
