About the Role

As Regional Brokerage Counsel for Coldwell Banker Realty, part of the Anywhere Real Estate family, you will deliver practical legal counsel across brokerage operations. This full-time position is connected to the Kansas City, Jackson County market, and admission to the Massachusetts bar is required. Candidates residing in Massachusetts are preferred, though applicants in other locations will also be evaluated.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day legal advice to brokerage leadership and field teams operating under the Coldwell Banker Realty brand.
• Guide compliance with real estate regulations, licensing requirements, and brokerage best practices.
• Review, draft, and negotiate agreements and documents tied to brokerage activity.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to identify and manage legal risk across the region.
• Support resolution of disputes and respond to legal questions arising from real estate transactions.

Qualifications

• Active admission to the Massachusetts bar (required).
• Background in real estate, brokerage, or transactional law preferred.
• Strong analytical, drafting, and communication skills.
• Residence in Massachusetts is preferred; candidates in other locations will be considered.
• Applicants living within a commutable distance of the Madison, NJ, NYC, or Framingham, MA hubs may be expected to work onsite at those locations.
