About the Role
As the Preschool Lead Teacher, you will partner closely with your classroom teaching team, the education coordinator, and the Director to build a warm, secure space where children feel supported and ready to grow. This on-site position centers on enriching daily activities, strengthening the overall standard of care, and helping deliver meaningful early childhood education to every student in your room.
Key Responsibilities
- Foster a safe, caring, and welcoming classroom environment for preschool-age children.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers, the education coordinator, and the Director to plan and carry out engaging learning activities.
- Support and help implement program curriculum and daily routines alongside the teaching staff.
- Communicate clearly and listen attentively to children, families, and colleagues.
- Contribute to continuous improvements in the quality of care and instruction provided.
Qualifications
- Genuine ability to communicate, listen, and thrive within a team-based setting.
- Commitment to the safety, well-being, and development of young children.
- Experience supporting or leading within an early childhood or preschool classroom is valued.
- Availability for full-time, in-person work at our Centerville-Mount Carmel location.
