About the Role
As an Infant and 3/4-Year-Old Teacher at Gate City Day Nursery Assoc., you will guide our youngest learners through their earliest stages of development in a safe, caring, and engaging classroom environment in East Point. This on-site, full-time position is ideal for a nurturing professional who finds joy in shaping the foundation of a child's lifelong learning.
Key Responsibilities
- Care for and teach infants as well as three- and four-year-old children in a developmentally appropriate setting.
- Create a supportive, encouraging atmosphere that promotes curiosity, safety, and early growth.
- Build positive, respectful relationships with children, families, fellow staff, and management.
- Apply strong time-management skills to keep daily classroom routines organized and goal-focused.
- Make sound, mature decisions while remaining dependable and consistent throughout each day.
Qualifications
- Prior experience working with young children.
- A Child Development Associate (CDA) credential, an Associate (AA) degree, or a background in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or a related field.
- A dependable, energetic, and nurturing personality with a consistently positive mindset.
- The ability to relate well to children, parents, colleagues, and leadership.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities with a goal-oriented approach.
- Willingness to meet and comply with all required program standards. CDA training is available for qualified candidates.
