Stadium Operations – Director of Maintenance

Orlando City is hiring a full-time Director of Maintenance to lead the upkeep of one of Central Florida's premier sports venues, based on-site in Orlando, Florida.

About the Role

As the Director of Maintenance within Stadium Operations, you will own the health and reliability of every building system that keeps the venue running. Reporting to the Senior Director of Facilities, this is a salaried, exempt leadership position for a hands-on professional who thrives on keeping complex infrastructure performing flawlessly. This role is fully on-site in Orlando and is not remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair core building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and technical equipment.
• Direct and coordinate all outside vendors handling maintenance and repair work across the facility.
• Plan preventive maintenance programs that minimize downtime and extend the life of stadium assets.
• Respond quickly to system issues to keep the venue safe, functional, and event-ready.
• Partner with the facilities leadership team to set priorities, budgets, and service standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing and repairing building systems such as HVAC, plumbing, and electrical infrastructure.
• Strong background overseeing third-party vendors and contracted maintenance services.
• Leadership skills to guide a maintenance function and coordinate across departments.
• Ability to work on-site full-time in Orlando, Florida, in a fast-paced stadium environment.
