About the Role

Key Responsibilities
- Operate a Class A commercial vehicle safely on long-haul, West Coast reefer routes.
- Transport refrigerated freight while maintaining proper temperature settings throughout transit.
- Inspect equipment before, during, and after each trip to ensure roadworthiness and cargo integrity.
- Deliver loads on schedule for customers and brokers nationwide.
- Keep accurate trip, hours-of-service, and delivery records in line with DOT regulations.
- Communicate clearly with dispatch to coordinate pickups, drop-offs, and route changes.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Proven OTR driving experience, ideally with reefer/refrigerated freight.
- Comfortable with extended over-the-road travel, including cross-country West Coast lanes.
- Willingness to work as an independent contractor under a 1099 arrangement.
- Clean driving record and a commitment to safety and on-time delivery.
