As a Restructuring, Insolvency, and Bankruptcy Associate at Dentons US LLP, you will work alongside experienced practitioners on complex financial restructuring and insolvency matters. Based in the Portland, ME office, this position offers meaningful exposure to high-profile engagements supported by the firm's broad regional capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Advise clients on restructuring, insolvency, and bankruptcy matters across a range of industries.
• Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents related to debt restructuring and creditor proceedings.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategy and client recommendations.
• Represent and assist clients throughout bankruptcy and reorganization processes.
• Collaborate with colleagues across Dentons' regional and national teams on multifaceted assignments.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Active admission to the bar and good standing in the relevant jurisdiction.
• Demonstrated interest or experience in restructuring, insolvency, or bankruptcy law.
• Strong analytical, drafting, and communication abilities.
• Ability to manage competing priorities while delivering high-quality, detail-oriented work.
