Insight Global is hiring a Senior Roadway Lead – Alternative Delivery to anchor the planning and delivery of complex transportation infrastructure from our Charlotte, North Carolina office. If you are a roadway engineering leader who thrives on Design-Build work, this on-site Charlotte opportunity puts you at the center of high-profile alternative delivery projects.
About the Role
As the Senior Roadway Lead, you will guide the technical direction and execution of alternative delivery (Design-Build) transportation programs while remaining ready to support traditional Design-Bid-Build efforts when the schedule calls for it. This is a hands-on, strategic position based in Charlotte, Mecklenburg County, ideal for someone who blends deep roadway expertise with confident project leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, design coordination, and delivery of roadway components on Design-Build transportation projects.
- Provide technical guidance across the full project lifecycle, from early pursuit through final delivery.
- Support Design-Bid-Build delivery and other traditional project approaches as workload and client needs require.
- Shape project strategy while staying engaged in day-to-day engineering execution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to keep roadway design on scope, on schedule, and aligned with client expectations.

- A strong background in roadway engineering and transportation project delivery.
- Demonstrated experience with alternative delivery (Design-Build), with the versatility to contribute to Design-Bid-Build work.
