About the Role

As Director of Sales for Clayton Homes in Tempe, you will own every dimension of Arizona market sales operations — from setting the strategic vision to delivering on ambitious goals. This is a hands-on leadership position where you translate company business plans into action across the region, guiding teams and outcomes alike.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and direct all facets of Arizona market sales operations, including overall strategy, vision, and goal-setting.
• Build and execute plans designed to reach or surpass company business objectives, such as total company revenue targets, gross profit, and customer satisfaction scores.
• Recruit, onboard, and develop regional sales talent to strengthen the team's capability and bench depth.
• Coach and mentor sales staff, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous performance improvement.
• Monitor results against plan and adjust tactics to keep the region on track toward its financial and service targets.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading a sales organization, ideally at a regional or market level.
• A track record of meeting or exceeding revenue, profitability, and customer satisfaction goals.
• Strength in recruiting, training, and motivating high-performing sales teams.
• Strategic thinking paired with the discipline to execute and deliver results.
• Willingness to work on-site in Tempe, Maricopa County (this is not a remote role).
