As a Class A CDL Company Driver with U.S. Xpress - OTR, you'll run solo over-the-road (OTR) freight hauling dry van trailers out of Pulaski, Pulaski County. This is a full-time, on-the-road position designed for early-career professional drivers who are ready to log consistent weekly miles and grow their experience behind the wheel.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a Class A tractor-trailer safely over long-haul, over-the-road routes.
- Transport dry van freight on solo OTR runs while averaging roughly 2,000 miles each week.
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and follow all federal and company safety standards.
- Maintain accurate logs and meet scheduled pickup and delivery windows.
- Communicate with dispatch to keep loads moving and on time.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A).
- One to five months of verifiable recent driving experience.
- Willingness to run solo over-the-road routes with extended time away from home.
- Commitment to safe, compliant, and dependable operation of dry van equipment.
