About the Role
As a Technician 1 with Aggreko in New Iberia, you'll be at the heart of our promise to keep our customers' operations powered without interruption. Working both in our shop and out in the field, you'll service and restore the equipment that delivers reliable power, climate control, and oil-free air around the clock. This is a full-time, on-site position ideal for someone who enjoys solving mechanical and electrical challenges with their hands.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out scheduled preventive maintenance on power generators, diesel engines, and related systems.
- Diagnose faults and complete repairs on electrical distribution equipment.
- Service HVAC units and oil-free air compressors to keep them performing reliably.
- Support work at the shop and at customer sites in and around Iberia Parish.
- Follow safety procedures and maintain accurate service records.
Qualifications
- Practical, hands-on aptitude for mechanical and electrical maintenance work.
- Familiarity with generators, diesel engines, HVAC, or air compressors is an advantage.
- Willingness to work both in the shop and in the field as customer needs require.
- A commitment to safety, dependability, and quality workmanship.
- Eligibility to work full-time on-site in New Iberia, Louisiana.
